Winter hiking in Gries/Laengenfeld
Snowshoe hiking and solid winter hiking in Gries and walking across picture-book landscapes covered all in white! You are warmly invited to explore the awesome scenery on snowshoes, equipped with headlamps and warm clothes. Winter hikers can choose from no less than 185km of cleared winter walking paths leading from the holiday resort of Haiming to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl and Vent.
But also with solid shoes and a warm jacket make undertake a walk and enjoy the beautiful winter scenery in Gries in Oetztal. The starting point is right next to Haus Daheim!
Amberger hut
From the car park at the edge of Gries you continue on the level trail across meadows to the wooden bridge across the Fischbach brook -> slightly rising trail (hiking time: approx. 1.5 hrs.) leading up to the serviced Sulztalalm mountain hut.
Nisslalm
From the car park at the edge of Gries you follow the route of the previous tour -> later you turn right into the broad forest trail leading to the serviced Nisslalm hut (toboggan rental) -> back on the same route, on foot or toboggan.
